About 114,000 people in Sweden have an origin in Norway (2025). Of them, about 39,000 were born in Norway and 75,000 were born in Sweden to at least one parent from there.
The most people born in Norway live in Stockholm (2,962), Göteborg (2,539) and Strömstad (1,315). The largest share of residents is in Eda (13.0%), Strömstad (9.7%) and Årjäng (9.1%).
By origin in Norway we mean people who were born in Norway, or who were born in Sweden and have at least one parent born in Norway.
