Origin Ukraine: how large the group is, where it lives and how it has changed.
About 55,000 people in Sweden have an origin in Ukraine (2025). Of them, about 48,000 were born in Ukraine and 6,600 were born in Sweden to at least one parent from there.
The most people born in Ukraine live in Stockholm (7,254), Göteborg (2,210) and Huddinge (1,594). The largest share of residents is in Huddinge (1.4%), Älvsbyn (1.2%) and Ånge (1.1%).
By origin in Ukraine we mean people who were born in Ukraine, or who were born in Sweden and have at least one parent born in Ukraine.
