By origin in India we mean people who were born in India, or who were born in Sweden and have at least one parent born in India.
The most people born in India live in Göteborg (10,507), Stockholm (9,819) and Solna (3,179). The largest share of residents is in Älmhult (3.9%), Solna (3.7%) and Ludvika (2.6%).

About 82,000 people in Sweden have an origin in India: 61,000 were born there and 21,000 were born in Sweden to at least one parent from there.
